John Martin Corp worked together with the Hippos design team to deliver an exceptional medical cannabis retail experience. Hippos, Chesterfield is located in a retail strip mall just in the retail heart of Chesterfield, Missouri. The dispensary is designed to meet the strict state mandates while also offering customers a friendly, hip, and relaxed environment to explore cannabis products. The space features an entry vestibule, partitioned waiting area, sales floor, medical consulting room, meshed security vault, single use restroom, and employee area. The space also features the latest in security, surveillance, retail hardware/software, and odor control to ensure that both the employees and customers have a world-class experience both inside and outside the store.

The project commenced simultaneously with two other Hippos dispensaries in June 2021 and all three were completed by the end of August 2021. The three facilities have given Hippos an incredible direct retail distribution channel while also being featured in local cannabis publications and other media. The three dispensaries were all approved for operation and licensed by the Missouri Section for Medical Marijuana Regulation in August 2021.
