John Martin Companies serves as a trusted construction partner to Ace Hardware across their national retail support center (RSC) network, delivering a growing portfolio of concurrent projects that span HVAC system expansions, EV charging station installations, fire protection upgrades, and distribution facility improvements at locations across the country. The partnership is built on a track record of mission-critical work inside live, 900,000+ square foot distribution hubs that cannot be taken offline. JMC specializes in phased, low-disruption construction in occupied industrial environments — coordinating ground-mounted HVAC installations around active warehouse operations, executing charging station rollouts without interrupting fleet logistics, and delivering value engineering that returns real savings to the client without compromising performance. Current and recently completed projects include full warehouse air-conditioning expansions at the Loxley, AL and Wilmer, TX RSCs (seven 130-ton ground-mounted units each), EV charging station construction at the Wilmer, West Jefferson, OH, and Plant City, FL locations, and Denios chemical storage and fire protection work at the La Crosse, WI facility. Beyond single-project delivery, the Ace relationship operates as a program. JMC coordinates closely with Ace Hardware corporate facilities, CBRE and Turner & Townsend (program management) to maintain schedule alignment, pricing discipline, and quality standards across the entire slate — giving Ace a single construction partner with consistent performance across multiple geographies and scopes.
