John Martin Companies served as Owner’s Representative for the development of a new Sky Zone indoor entertainment facility in Bakersfield, California, on behalf of Haven Capital Partners.

Engaged at project kickoff in Q4 2025 and running through completion in Q2 2026, JMC acted as the owner’s advocate across every phase of the project — working alongside the design team, general contractor, and specialty vendors to keep the work aligned on budget, schedule, and scope.

Our scope included preconstruction oversight, contract coordination, budget tracking, and schedule management, along with active involvement in design review and value engineering. During construction, we provided ongoing cost control, reviewed change orders, and made sure field execution stayed consistent with the owner’s objectives.

The project required tight coordination across amusement equipment suppliers, specialty vendors, and base building construction — all inside a defined timeline and budget framework. JMC’s role was to deliver clear communication, accountability, and decision-making support, keeping the project moving without surprises.
